The U-Crew waitlist is open

U-Crew has opened its waitlist to superyacht crew worldwide. Founding members get first access to the U-Factor assessment, the Daily Check-in and the Vent when the app launches, plus a say in what gets built next. Signing up takes one email address and thirty seconds.

As of today, any working crew member can join the U-Crew waitlist. No invitation, no agency referral, no CV upload. One email address, and you are on the list.

Founding members will be first through the door when the app launches: first to take the U-Factor, first to start a Check-in streak, first into the Vent. They will also shape the roadmap. The first thousand members will be asked, directly, what U-Crew should build next.

Join from the signup section on this page. Consent is explicit, your email is used for launch news only, and unsubscribing works with one click.

The U-Factor enters crew testing

The U-Factor, U-Crew's assessment of the eight crew energies, has moved into structured testing with working crew across the Mediterranean fleet. Testing runs through the autumn, with results feeding the final scoring model before the assessment ships in the app at launch.

Daily Check-in streaks: a first look

The Daily Check-in is gaining streaks, but not the guilt-trip kind. A streak in U-Crew measures honesty kept, not moods performed: it survives bad days, pauses for crossings, and never turns your wellbeing into a score you can fail. Here is how the design works.

The app enters closed beta with its first working crews

The U-Crew app has entered closed beta. A small group of working crews across the Mediterranean now carries the app through a live season: the U-Factor, the Daily Check-in and the Vent, all tested where they have to earn their place, on charter, mid-season, at 3am.

The first builds of the U-Crew app are now in crew pockets. The closed beta puts the core loop, take the U-Factor, keep a Daily Check-in, use the Vent when the season bites, into the hands of full working crews rather than test users, because a wellbeing tool that only works on a calm day is not a wellbeing tool.

Beta crews were chosen to cover the real spread of the industry: deck and interior, charter and private, first-season greenies and fifteen-year veterans. Their feedback lands directly with the team building each feature, and it is already reshaping the check-in flow.

The waitlist remains the route into future rounds. Members will be invited in cohorts as the beta widens through the season.

U-Crew introduced to the industry at Palma 2026

U-Crew made its first public appearance at the Palma International Boat Show, introducing the platform to captains, crew and industry partners. The response confirmed the thesis: the industry knows its crew are its product, and it has been waiting for someone to build around them.
