How the Vent stays safe: our moderation framework, published

The Vent is the part of U-Crew people ask about first, and the part that fails worst if it is built carelessly. An honest space for crew to put the season down has to be anonymous enough to be truthful, moderated enough to stay safe, and completely sealed from anyone who signs a pay cheque.

So before it ships, we are publishing the rules it will run on. Posts carry no identity visible to other users. Moderation is done by humans who have worked seasons themselves, against a published line: venting is protected, naming individuals is not, and content that suggests someone is at risk triggers a support response rather than a takedown. Nothing in the Vent is ever surfaced to employers, management companies or crew agents, in any form, aggregated or otherwise.
